It has certainly been such an eventful and wonderful summer. I have so much to be thankful for, especially our gift Maisen, or "Bug," as Dust, has nicknamed her. Each second I am away from her I find my thoughts drifting off to her gentle "coos" and the big smile she gets when she knows we are giving her undivided attention.

To say the least Dusty and I are heartbroken that we have to leave her each day in a couple weeks when we head back to work. However, we know God has an amazing plan for our family and we believe we are living in His will for our lives at this time. I'll include some pictures for you to see incase you won't see here for awhile. She is the joy of our life and we are amazed each day at the changes she makes. One change we pray for is that she will begin going to bed right after her 9:30 pm feeding. Currently she would rather stay up and watch late night ESPN Sports Center with Daddy and Mommy. Don't get me wrong, I love my sports, Dusty loves his sports, but sleep has to happen sometime. Oh well, it is amazing the patience you develop when you have children, Dusty already had one, is well a god send, God on the other hand, God is doing a work in me each day.
Macy now, is a year, getting big!!! I thought I'd just give a few pictures of before to update...
This is my bug! I just love how much she brings joy to my life.At Maisen's First Birthday... We decided to let her play with the cake. Or, I think it was Dusty that decided to let her play. It just goes to show that Dusty cleaned her up afterwards.
Daddy and the birthday girl.... This is the reason I get up I the morning. These two are a godsend.
Here's my babe... Dustin Thomas Porter. The love of my life. The greatest father in the world. The one that I look up to in every situation.
You're probably wondering who this strange girl is with my baby, and my boyfriend, and I'll let you know... This is my big sister, Holli. I must not look a thing like her, and I do know why! She's my adoptive sister. I still love her. She's a single mother of three, and still manages to take one more every day while we're going to work and school.
Dusty and I met at a college function. GO Beavs! Dusty was just finishing school. I was just finishing High school. I guess you could say it was a match made in heaven. He took me to a basketball game, and then a cheap college boy's dinner afterwards, hotdogs and soda. I guess I never knew where it went from there. Soon I was expecting now one of the greatest creations, and little people in the world, and I was still with the greatest guy in the world. I GUESS I'M A LITTLE BIASED.
