I'M ENGAGED!!!!! I can't believe it.. Today earlier, it finally happened.
Let me tell you what went down.
Well, Maisen went to see grandpa and grandma Porter for the day, while Dusty and I took the day for ourselves. We decided to go from Eugene to Central Oregon, where Dusty's dad and mom are, and we went from there. He first took me to Lunch at Mazatlan, though I went there with my Aunt all the time, it never got old with my Auntie, and it definitely won't get old with Dusty. Then we drove up to Bend Oregon, where we shopped, of course for Macy-girl, but then, he snuck a few things in there for me...HOW SWEET!!! After that, we drove up towards the West towards Black Butte and Sisters, where we were able to take my horses out in the mountains...Dusty was a trooper, he doesn't like riding that much, and I do, and he stuck with it the whole time. We found a perfect little spot, just seclusive and I won't divulge the location, for I don't want anyone to google the location. We then got out our poles, and fished a while. (If you haven't figured out by now, Dusty loves to fish, and I've grown to like the sport.) So, we started to fish for a while, and when it was time to re-bait the hook, or whatever it is called, he had me get into his tackle box. (one term I do know!) There, on the top section, was a small velvet box....You should know where I'm going. I turned to him, and looked at him, and he gave me that melt at your knees smile.
Inside was a ring, and he finally asked. He asked me to marry him. And of course I said yes!
